Business Development Executive

Salary: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month

Roles and Responsibilities-

We’re looking for a driven and detail-oriented Business Development Executive to join our growing IT services team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys client interaction, has a knack for spotting business opportunities, and is confident in proposal creationlead generation, and solution selling. You’ll play a vital role in bridging the gap between client needs and our technical offerings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients using multiple channels such as LinkedIn, cold emails, cold calling, networking, and online research.
  • Conduct introductory calls, understand client requirements, and document key pain points and business needs.
  • Collaborate with senior team members to create tailored proposals, including solution design, effort estimation, and pricing.
  • Assist in conducting presentations and demos to showcase service capabilities.
  • Manage initial negotiations, follow-ups, and support in deal closures.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (tech, design, delivery) to ensure proposals are aligned with feasibility and timelines.
  • Liaise with client-side stakeholders for vendor onboardingcontractual formalitiesinvoicing, and payment processing.
  • Keep CRM updated with leads, pipeline status, and client communications.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging client needs in the IT space.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing conversations
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal departments
  • Experience in preparing proposals and solution documentation
  • Good understanding of IT services like web/app development, cloud, or digital transformation
  • Strong negotiation and client relationship management skills
  • Basic familiarity with lead generation strategies and CRM tools (e.g., Zoho, HubSpot)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or related field
  • 3 years of experience in business development or sales in the IT services industry
  • Exposure to international clients or remote sales is a plus
  • Knowledge of basic contract/legal compliance for service-based businesses
