Frequently asked questions

How much time will it take to develop an e-commerce website?

It depends on the complexity of the project. For the one-time project, the expected timelines would be shared after understanding the requirements. For the CIP project, we recommend an MVP version of the online store consisting of main pages and products to be launched first, and then iteratively build the rest of the website.

How much time will it take to launch my business website?

Depending on the complexity of the business website, time-to-market varies. For a one-time website, the expected timelines would be shared in the actual proposal after discussing your requirements. For the CIP website, we recommend an MVP version consisting of the main pages Home, About us, Products & Services, Contact us, among others to be built first, and then iteratively build the rest of the website in phases.

How will I be kept in the e-commerce website development loop?

We will assign a CX team member to your project who will be a single point of contact for all your e-commerce website needs. We use an agile project management tool where all work is updated regularly. The client can keep track of the progress of the project through the dashboard. For a one-time website, we will conduct regular meetings to keep you updated on project progress until its duration.  For CIP, we will conduct online meetings monthly to discuss the progress of the website for the duration of the contract.

We don’t have the technical expertise and experience to manage our website?

No worries. Many of our customers don’t have the technical experience and expertise to manage thier website. By working with us they now spend more time on growing thier business, leaving all the technical work to us.

What’s the difference between a one-time website and a CIP e-commerce website?

A one-time website is ideal for businesses with a fixed scope of work. CIP website is for businesses that want full flexibility in the scope of work with unlimited scope changes.  Furthermore, they need an agency that can fully manage their e-commerce website right from design, to development, to hosting to maintenance and beyond. The majority of our clients are on the CIP plan and have been with us for at least four years. For more details, connect with us to discuss in detail the differences between both plans.

What’s the difference between standard and enterprise packages?

Our standard plan works for businesses that are looking for a one-time development website having fixed requirements and basic monthly maintenance. Enterprise plans are for those businesses that want incremental improvement of thier website over time, replacing the traditional all at once approach. It’s a better fit for continually growing and evolving business organizations.

Will you provide monthly maintenance after the e-commerce website is launched?

For a one-time website, we offer monthly basic maintenance which is billed separately from initial project costing. The maintenance plan starts when the project is completed & launched. For the CIP website, monthly maintenance is included in the subscription.

Will you use the ready-made theme to develop my business website?

No, we don’t. We will develop your website from scratch that is tailored to your business needs. The advantage of a custom design is that we are in full control of the source code. This means faster page loads, more flexibility in design, lightweight web pages, and most important less dependency on third-party code.

How much time will it take to launch our website?

The time to market depends on the complexity of the website. We recommend an MVP version of the website consisting of main pages such as Home, About us, Product & Services, Contact us, etc. to be launched first, and then iteratively build the rest of the website. At times it’s required to build the entire website, typically when rebuilding an existing website. In such cases, the expected timelines would be shared in the actual proposal.

What is the value you are going to add after website is live?

We will run it for you, so that your website adds real business value to you. In past, we have built hundreds of websites that languish because it never got updated. It never gave the returns that it could have given. We believe in continuous improvement and we will continue to improve your website so that it gives you desired result year after year.

Do you have any minimum duration of contract?

Yes, you have to take the package for at least one year.

What is an unique page?

A page with more than 50% of the difference in layout from other existing pages is termed as unique page layout.
